SHe-Box (Sexual Harassment electronic Box) initiative. Originally launched by the Government of India’s Ministry of Women and Child Development, SHe-Box is a centralized digital complaint management system designed to ensure the effective implementation of the POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Act, 2013. The portal provides a secure, single-window platform for women—whether working in the public, private, organized, or unorganized sectors—to officially register and track complaints regarding workplace sexual harassment. By automatically routing grievances to the appropriate Internal Committee (IC) or Local Committee (LC) and ensuring strict confidentiality, platforms like this facilitate transparent, timely, and legally compliant grievance redressal to help maintain a safe and secure working environment for women.
